Lets return the favor and take 2 in Chicago from these bums.

1st pitch swinging again.

Just pathetic. Do we not learn anything 5 innings into the game?

Man I hate the benching stuff ricky used to do, but I’m benching the next guy who swings first pitch

Way to hit right into the shift. Players who hit into the shift should be fined. Ridiculous. Hit the fricking ball the opposite way. So much green pasture you WILL get hits.

Ha and then takes called 3rd. Heck of an effort

One infield single which probably was an error, less than 10 pitches per inning.

Yoan is starting to do this.  Alonso doesn't know it's allowed.

Sanchez is lobbing meat up there. Sad.

Sanchez apparently has dominating stuff.

Anibal Buehrle mowing them down.

Overall, I don't agree with this; in the least. However, in Alonso's case - it is getting completely absurd. As it has been made ABUNDANTLY clear that he cannot elevate the ball even semi-consistently over the heads of opposing infielders.

I feel like every time I settle in to watch the White Sox half of the inning - I look down at my phone once, back up at the TV and the Nationals are hitting again.

DC feeling that Paigne!

If you go the other way enough they will end up shifting less. Hit it where they aint

I bet Nats fans are probably saying why the hell can't their team hit the garbage being thrown up there.

Big offensive inning coming here

QS from Despaigne

You would be a fool to ask more than that from him.

Now, if we could PLEASE stop making fools of ourselves at the plate. Thanks

Six complete innings with 3 runs.  I do believe they call that a quality start.  What more could you ask from this guy.

One would hope.

He’s our #2 starter.

LOL

Agree to disagree for now... Not really a debate that should be had in a game thread.

50 pitches through 5 1//3 innings.  With all the first pitches it feels like 35 pitches.

Reminds me of Bruce Chen shit.
