Dude I wasn't even saying that he was pitching well.

You were earlier, then changed your tune. I already agreed that Lester has definitely been given more favorable calls.

That was totally dumb the steal of 3rd

Tim has been handed a lot of rope with his idea of "making baseball fun again."     But the idiocy to his game still shows up too often.  More than I enjoy.

And when you’re three runs down on the road.

Benetti complimented him on being smart not trying for a triple when he could have made it with ease and then does stupid shit like that

Anderson was just so selfish

His base running has not been very good for about a month now.  Started off the season incredible in that aspect.

Part of his "making baseball fun again" mantra isn't stealing bases; that's just a piece of his game. That mantra is based on celebrating it seems

Contreras killed us last year too. Isn't he the guy who hit that grand slam?

This I could agree with. I feel like he had 10 SB by May 1 and not a lot since

Yes

There was some misunderstanding there then. I said that he couldn't be blamed for the slam because he executed his pitch but Contreras was sitting on it. That was on McCann for poor pitch selection. That is what I said and I stand by it. He could be blamed for loading the bases, but if they get Contreras out he wiggles out of it with zero runs or one run.

And then Benetti and Stone praise the jump he had, and that it took a great throw.

THAT DOESN'T MATTER!!!

YES

Well, they did work Lester to get him to 100 pitches through 5.

Pretty epic at bat for McCann.

It wasn't a good jump though. He had a good jump on the play Lester tried to pick him off. When you have a good jump stealing third, you always steal the base.

It was far from a good jump given what you normally can get off Lester

McCann pretty much ended Lester's night in that AB. I think that's 100 pitches for Lester.

Timmy with a hotdog play.  With no outs...you don't steal third with no outs unless 110% positive you will make it.

Worth noting that at least 2 of those caught stealing were on batter's interference

Down by 3 runs, you should probably never try.
