What? Hammels and Hendricks have pitched like aces this year and Lester usually does, but not as often as before. Darvish is a luxury for them right now.

Lucas gets a pass for this start and should have leeway to pitch more realistically. That being said, we need to pump the brakes on him being a true Ace until he finishes the year.

There are people who think he was a headcase last year and will revert to sucking at any moment, ignoring that his delivery was broken, he still struck out 9 batters in 4.1 innings and that his stuff and control was infinitely better than last year, even tonight.
