Contreras killed us last year too. Isn't he the guy who hit that grand slam?

Yes.

Pretty epic at bat for McCann.

Our hitters have to swing at that low, outside crap that’s out of the strike zone because this doofus umpire will call the strike for Lester.

^^^^

We are being beaten by one Cub tonight

Down by 3 runs, you should probably never try.

That's probably right.

Cubs bullpen sucks. Light them up.

Leadoff double and then only 3 guys end up hitting that inning.  How often does that happen?

We just continue to play dumb baseball.

Dropped pop ups, bad OF routes, Interferance, getting hit running out of the box, caught stealing 3B with no outs.

Just so much dumbness.  And by the sound of it people are still comfortable in their jobs.

That was just such bad baseball by Tim... he could have easily gotten to 3rd on the triple.

Thought he was being careful.. then he tries to seal third?

C'mon bro that's fucking stupid.

Contreras gonna be swinging for #3 here.

Anyone even warming up?

And with 3,4,5 behind you.

Giolito should start using his curveball as a substitute for his change when they're sitting on it.

At least once to often.

Eloy / Robert / Puig next year please.

What the fuck is with you and Puig man?  Seriously, did you wish for socks for Christmas as kid too?

He's the best RF option on the FA market.

McCann's framing was terrible tonight.  Made that last pitch look nowhere close.

I’m just being realistic.  Sox aren’t getting the top guys.  He’s the best RF available and I think the Sox could actually sign him.

Next two starts against Boston and Twins......good luck

It‘s not like he didn‘t dominate against Houston or the Yankees. ;)

btw. The lineup a pitcher faces does not make as big a difference as many people think. The worst offense in baseball is around 1.5 runs worse than the absolute best one.

Those runners are going to score.

true, but I think it's easier getting back on track if he got to face the Beckham-led Tigers or Royals again instead of the Red Sox or Twins.

Cub fans on social media saying Ace my ass about LG

dogshit performance by Lucas, just flat out 2018-esque

he looked bad at the end of the Yankees game too

Could have pitch hit with Collins at Geo's last at bat if we just knew he didn't have it tonight.

ABSOLUTELY. He just doesn't throw it for strikes. It's a shame. I know me and you were the main ones hyping his curveball.

Haha, that 1-0 pitch has been a strike all night for Lester
