I don't care to look it up, but I'm pretty sure the Sox have hit sale pretty well since the trade.

With Devers being red hot, that top half of the boston lineup is a fucking juggernaut

That should be an error on Leury, not McCann. The throw was not that bad.

JBJ has gotten WAY too much respect from the Sox this series.

LMAO Lopez.

Lopez sucks.

Lopez keeps getting burned on his changeup. The Astros would have had him ditch that pitch a long time ago.

I would say that Jon Jay has more focus than ReyLo

I would love if we had some 1,2,3, innings the rest of the way.

He should replace it with a splitter.

Looks safe to me, but it's close

Just tuning in via gameday, what happened to Moncada?!

HBP on the knee, left the game after limping to third on an Abreu double, considered day to day with a bruise

FWIW, Sale destroyed this team in one game last year. He threw the hardest pitch he's thrown since he was in the bullpen in 2011 in that game.

He should be benched for that. Time to send him a message.

It's not like the Sox have many options this year, but I think they will move him to the pen to become a FB/slider guy if he continues to struggle.

Wasn't that The Covey Game at Fenway?

Guarantee they give him a few more years as a starter.  Giolito’s turnaround has given everyone a second and third life.

I don't think we have anyone on the bench but Collins.  So not really an option.

What exactly did Lopez work on in the offseason?

Yes, but he also got rocked in the return to the Cell vs Quintana no? I seem to recall going to that game and being disappointed both pitchers laid an egg

Is "nothing" an acceptable answer?

Staying tall, throwing strikes, sacrifice velocity for movement.....

I see this lazy Don Cooper jab, but you know: Lopez has been throwing with the same velo as he did in Washington

Sox need better analytics and tools for these guys.  Whatever they are asking him to work on isn't helping.

Here we go again. Every inning this whole series vs. the BoSox batter has been torture. We had the lead in every game. We need to finish them off already.
