that was hard to watch, but it’s done and hopefully he can settle in and end the day on a positive note over the next few Innings.

I'm about to hand out bannings to those who stupidly overreact.  Its for your own good...maybe you can learn to be something other than a miserable piss.

I’m taking off early today, heading to the airport, and getting absolutely smashed at a bar while watching Cease dominate these Tigers!  Can’t fucking wait!!

I already want him to see him take a Lance McCullers approach. The curve is amazing.

That curve is so good, and there's clearly life on the fastball. I'm not even going to sweat the command for a quite a while

no doubt the butterflies and adrenaline were a factor.

Damnit.

The wind is crazy out there huh

I liked seeing the recognition that he had a better feel for his hook than his fastball and McCann making that adjustment

No matter what, it's still damn exciting to see him out there.  Maybe his trade mate Eloy will hit a bomb to help bail him out. :)

Hes missing so badly, absolutely no control.. not sure why they would call him up when this is what he was like in charlotte too

That is a fair question. People here were peeing just to see him.

Preach!

Abreu!

Our All Star?

All-Star Abreu with a double!  Suck on that Ron!

This is going to be a high scoring game.

By the way, the single best move the Sox ever made was the raised logo on the matte batting helmets

Cease has a great look.  Love his delivery, the fastball has life and the curveball is a hammer.  He was missing up and away which is a sure sign of overthrowing due to nerves and is easily correctable.  He's gonna be a real good one.

Cooper should have been out there much earlier.

Gotta give the kid a chance to work out of his mess.  That's part of learning and gaining experience at the MLB level.  I'm pretty sure Cease knows he has ample time to work out his kinks on the club, now he has Cooper to help him everyday.

What the fuck is that strike?

This is gonna be one of those zones huh...

He’s not even close right now with the fastball.

You had a valid point, that post was 100% sarcastic.

McCann!
