His velocity was way down in the 5th, and Ricky pulled him with no hits allowed and 80 pitches thrown. No word on why yet. They really can't afford another injury to a pitcher.

Watching the game and they just said dehydration and flu like symptoms 

Shouldn’t someone be making sure the pitcher in particular stays properly hydrated?

Might be a good idea to change this thread title before Parkman causes someone to have a heart attack.

You have to be hydrated well before the game. It's a job with your big boy pants on. If tomorrow is your start you retire early which most guys would do.

Well I can certainly agree with what you’re saying I would not necessarily think the coaching staff or the trainers would be watching the pitcher. They seem to be involved in everything else
