August 5, 20205 yr Sounds like dead arm from the short ramp up+Rodon coming off TJS. This is probably the reason why they don't show pitcher velocities in ST broadcasts. Edited August 5, 20205 yr by Jack Parkman

August 5, 20205 yr The shoulder is notoriously hard to image. I'm not convinced of much either way here. Proof will be Rodon throwing 93-95 in a month.

Would have to be very similar to the Sale deal. It would make me very nervous to do that...... Plus, they don't need Vaughn.. Unless they think they can hid him in LF (maybe a possibility?). I guess they could try and keep Vaughn and trade a Kopech, Crochet, one of the HS pitchers (Kelley, Dalquist, Thompson).. But many teams could beat that... I'd prefer that to the Vaughn.. August 6, 20205 yr Saturday is a bullpen day so they need more bullpen and bigger roster to make up for the casualties. This is becoming a joke of a season and more bodies are needed.
