  • Get a god damn win

  • Unfortunately the weather goes both ways. Healy probably has a 3 run homer in the 3rd if the ball carried better.

Oh well, can’t win em all.   Keuchel was awesome and the Sox caught a couple of bad breaks.

Robert's gotta stop looking back, he's done that on at least a few of his SBs this year.

Robert was looking back, average lead, not a very good jump and barely got thrown out.

Missed hit and run???

Or was just looking back towards the plate out of habit?

Someone's going to have to talk to him about that.

Robert looked back and it was still close lol - if he had ran straight through he may have gotten it. Oh well, wasn’t gonna be perfect forever

Missed hit and run imo. I haven’t seen him look back like that before

I don't know what to believe any more...I thought Luis would never get thrown out....I'm having an existential  crisis.

He did on his steal yesterday

Fathom, just curious.   Are we going to fixate on the Cubs this year or you've totally given up the ghost?

Or only if we face them in the World Series?

Hmm, I looked back at the game yesterday (I have it on DVR lol) and you’re absolutely right. Hadn’t noticed. He has to stop that

Leury has looked perfectly cromulent at short so far

Bad hop, Garcia recovered, defensive positioning cost the Brewers a single up the middle.

LOL. He didn't even attempt a throw.

He didnt have a good grip on the ball it was back in his palm.

Dealin!!

Keuchel was such a great pickup. Imagine if they would have gotten both him and Wheeler. Damn.

DK has it working tonight!

When do we trade TA for pitching ?

Basically everyone makes the playoffs, so no reason to worry about their regular season.

It was one or the other

Big shift from pre-season.   The NL Central looked like it was going to be a huge challenge to get two teams out of that division, with 4 competitors and one garbage franchise.

That said, their starting rotation has weaknesses and Wick as the closer might not have much of a shelf life.

They stole my line. Hide your heart girls. Eloy's coming.

I liked the Keuchel signing when they did it, but he has been much better than I thought.

could have been both. Easily. They still will have to buy one more starter if they want to win a World Series. With the lineup locked up for years, they only have one more true need. Wheeler was better than anything available this offseason.

Wheeler has averaged 96.7 on fastball.   Caught first couple of innings, he got touched up (bad Segura defense) but recovered to get his second win.

Yankees' lineup without Sanchez, Urshela and Stanton in Game 1.   Already setting up roster for post-season/Twins.
