Is it too early to call Eloy a bust?

Wasn't there an idiot in the last game thread saying to give up on Eloy? I wont check. It's his 2nd year and he's 23..

I think EE without as many walks is a good comp for Eloy honestly. 

Mazara talking to Eloy and is like, "Yep I used to hit those too."

With no fans, I just look at the reaction of the hitter out of the box. Eloy did his hop, so I figured it was gone.

For his career, he’s around 43 homers per 162 games

Timmy is the best to watch for that...you really know from his reaction when he got a hold of one. 

This is in no way a criticism, but for someone with so much power, Eloy has sure hit some cheapies this year.

Let's say it this way...if you acquired Mazara and expected you'd tender him an arbitration offer for 2021, nothing other than a major injury should change that idea. Even a whole lot of sucking.

After going up by 2 he shuld have gone to Engel for defense......he should not even be starting and should  be a situational LHH only.

Danny is a nice little player, but he takes forever to turn the double play

I was only expecting to tender him if he took a step or two forward. It was a gamble on a young player that still has upside. If it doesn't work, move on and take your lumps. 

Knowing the Sox they'll give him next year too.
