Eloys still young.  His pitch recognition has to get better though.  Once it does, i expect several 50hr seasons

I am requesting that start times be included in game threads.  It used to be standard.

  • LuBob is almost as bad of a nickname as HoT FiRe or where ever the random caps were.

Dunning's stuff and demeanor scream Matt Garza to me

To me, you take 4-5 innings every Dunning start the rest of the year. Can’t see him being a 100 pitch guy this year.

He was at 65 pitches when everyone wanted him to come out of the game. The Sox very obviously wanted to see Dunning throw more than 65 pitches tonight. I would guess they were given a pitch count to hit, and if he didn't get lit he was getting there. Even at 5 innings he's throwing 90+ pitches probably as a rookie. And again, if you never pass that number then he'll never not be fatigued past that number.

Sure. he was what 70 today? He will be at 90 in two more starts provided he doesn't need to be pulled early in one.

I guess you can't get a double play unless you let someone on base

Foster continues to be a godsend

Collins still looking in the dugout when a key pitch needs to be called. I wonder who is making that call. Ricky or McCann?

It’d be a good time for Mazara’s first light tower power right here.....he’s been putting together better swings as of late

I love the idea of foster coming into the game after Kopech firing 99 next season and batters having to face that changeup. Really impressed with that pitch.
