Madrigal should start at 2b but Mendick should play 50-60% of the remaining regular season games as well. He should spell TA, Moncada, and Madrigal on a regular basis (let’s say one start a week for each of those guys on average) to keep them healthy heading into October.

Mendick is a utility guy. He might be a really good one but that's the pecking order.

Madrigal has a higher ceiling and will take over at 2nd when he is ready.

August 22, 20205 yr they need to realize that Moncada needs at least 1-2 days a week at DH to keep him in the lineup, otherwise they're gonna lose him every now and then to soreness. Work this around EE/James/Grandal. EE should only be in the lineup 4 games out of 7 imo. season is too short to be fucking around with him. we have a whole lineup of guys who can mash and also do other shit. that's my hot take

August 22, 20205 yr If Leury is basically our for the season (not sure about his status for the post-season), I would definitely consider Brock as a super utility guy to give us a bit more depth.
