That’s got to be it for Dane, but holy fuck what a performance!

79 pitches. I wonder how long they'll let him go considering the situation.

You gotta bring Dunning out for 1 more inning, right? I know last time he was losing it...today his velo has been meh all game, but his movement is AMAZING. Tough call here.

That's probably it with his pitch limit. Beautiful outing. I really hope he sticks through the trade deadline. Such a refreshing pitcher to watch.

He's coming off TJS and we don't know how much he's properly stretched out for.

Gotta be smart, we're in a playoff race and he could be a wildcard for us down the line.  I don't mind the pen being up now.

What a great outing by Dunning, he just has the stuff to be a good #3 in TBE rotation for a long time

Has Dylan Cease looked this good on consecutive starts?

Dunning is the first pitcher in White Sox with 7+ k in first 2 starts. Wow!

See someone beat me with the post.

Hell of an outing by Dunning.

I think that’s it, you don’t want to risk an injury over a potential  no hitter

I don't think so. I don't remember the last time Dylan looked this good for an entire start let alone 2.

I don’t recall them if he did, but Dylan was always going to be a bit more of a project than Dane.

I think we all agree that Dane isn't going 9, even without giving up a hit.

So IMO, if he isn't going to finish it anyway, then there isn't much difference between 5 and 6. Stick to your original pitch count, and if that was 80, pull him.

A no hitter he can't possibly get without throwing 130 pitches at that lol

Dunning stepping up as a #3 down the stretch would be a godsend.

Who can you get that will pitch better?

The risk-management in me says pull him, the meatball fan in me says let him run.

Tough.

Agreed, I think that is it for Dunning but we need him stretched out for 90-100 pitches within the next couple weeks

If they trade Double D ( yeah, I went there), people are going to lose their shit. I might be one of them. ?

Not this season for sure.  Don’t think last either.

106 exit velo from Grandal.

Got the tip of the cap from the White Sox dugout...Mondesi's got a lot of tools, but only really put it all together in that 2019 season.

Question has always been the hitting with him.
