What happened to all of Nomar's power?

He's a left handed "power" bat that came to the Sox.

Crazy to think I'm actually looking forward to a Colome inning given the alternatives.

I actually thought Cishek looked good today.

I believe that fly out was Mazara’s hardest hit ball all season

He doesn’t use his hips. He has shown no chance of turning on a fastball.  I would trust Delmonico to get a hit more than him.

I have been calling for his head for longer than anyone else. I just don’t blame him for things that aren’t his fault. Right now the Sox are tied, and Colome and Heuer are left in the Sox bullpen. So Soxtalk should have the Sox win chance we’ll over 99%.

Colome on in a non save situation.  It just keeps getting better.

If that was his first bad outcome, I may agree with you.

He did, but he made one horrible pitch.  Missed his spot by two feet

What the hell was that pitch selection?

I’m strictly talking about his pitches and location...not the outcome.

Soler leadoff single...

Oh come on man....the dude (Cishek) has now given up 9 runs in 12.2 innings this year. There are obviously better choices than him in that situation

Huh

If Colome doesn't get the job done here, it was the right call to have him in, how's that? There's no longer a chance of a save situation this game, he's available, and he's been reliable.

??? they should have never given up the lead to begin with DA. C’mon now man.

I watched a video the other day about how all Soler can hit consistently is fastballs. Colome only throws fastballs and cutters.

No way the Sox win this one

Going forward, is this weekend a sign of an elite bullpen hitting a slump, or a sign of an average bullpen crashing back to earth after a hot start? Makes a huge difference to our chances in the post season

Colome is struggling

No clue why they had him throw inside cutters. He’s had success vs Soler on outside cutters before

These last 2 games have had eerie atmospheres. It seems like the Sox are a tad tired. Not a good time for that with MIN on the horizon

4-6-3 would be nice

I know it’s the right call. The problem is a good portion of the board thinks a relievers ERA should be 0,00,

What are u confused about? He’s given up 9 runs in 12 and 2/3 innings. He should have never been in the ballgame in a 2-1 game.

No, the problem is you are insisting that a guy with an ERA of 6 and a guy with an ERA of 2.70 are guys that it is tough to decide between in a 1 run game.

Any word on how far away Bummer is from returning?
