Keuchel (5 - 2, 2.42 ERA) vs Harvey (0 - 2, 14.09 ERA).

Sox are 25-15, 10 games above .500 for the first time since May 2016 and are first in the division. Royals are 14 - 26.

Last time out Keuchel was apparently battling stomach pain issues. Keuchel pitched 5 innings against the Twins (9/1) giving up 1 run (0 ER).

Harvey last “pitched” against the Sox for a brief appearance (9/3) , but his last start came against the Indians (9/1) where he went 1.1 innings and gave up 5 runs and three home runs.

Let’s goooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Unless Harvey built a time machine, the Sox should absolutely tee off against him. 

Keuchel just needs to do Keuchel things and give us at least 6 innings.

I would've put Mendick at 3b and kept Madrigal at 2b, but why do that when you can just hand a start to Yolmer fucking Sanchez?

Can see your point but perhaps RR is easing Madrigal in. Resting Yoan and Madrigal could be a wise move especially against a struggling pitcher. On paper, we should have enough.

The good news is the Sox probably will  have 5 runs before Yolmer gets to his 2nd AB.

If Yolmer hits a fly ball he needs to be fucking punched immediately on camera.  

Perfect example of why I was not overly interested in a Yolmer Sanchez reunion, but I'm sure Madrigal needs those two days off...

Don’t get the Yolmer hate. With Keuchel on the mound, I think it’s a good idea to play your best defensive infield, especially on the left side.

Really would like to see Robert and EE switch spots in the lineup. Robert has earned it. EE hasn't. 

The bottom of the lineup looks ugly. If Yoan is dinged up from last night, not sure why you don't just put Mendick at 3B and keep Madrigal at 2B. 

Also, 2 games off for Madrigal in last 4? Wtf is that about. SMH.

I wonder if they are just taking it slow with Madrigal after his shoulder injury. You'd have to think it irks Hahn seeing Madrigal sitting when his playtime/development is absolutely crucial for being prepared in this shortened season and playoffs.

The Yolmer addition made theoretical sense from a depth perspective, but it was just a matter of time before Ricky started using him too much.
