Sox vs Twins. 9/15 - 7:10

Cubs blew their 2 run lead to the Indians. Now tied in the bottom of the 9th.

6 games up on the Indians pretty much wraps up 2nd place for us.

    That's your Game 1 lineup.

Who are we going to pinch hit late in the game now that all our best hitters are in the starting lineup? Ricky does it again!

  • I literally said "In my opinion" - maybe I was right and RR got lucky. Maybe I was wrong and there is a reason I'm on my couch and RR is in a dugout. And FWIW, if we weren't having this conversation I

Good god guys give it a fucking rest. Why not pitch Fry 2 IP in his first game back? Maybe they decided on how much he could go. Good lord.

Yeah another 7 pitches would've really fucked him up

Maybe a cold take but I think we win the division if we win tonight. Obviously not mathematically guaranteed, but I am really confident we win at least one of Gio and DK's starts the next two days, especially facing Maeda, who isn't a lefty but who the sox apparently think is a lefty so they will crush due to placebo effect.

Leaving this series with a 3 game lead and the tie breaker, I think we get it done.

Lock it in boys and girls, I'm riding or dying with this prediction.

I was hoping for a split on this series and mission accomplished. But why stop now? Let's get greedy and pile it on tomorrow!

“Sox should not over pitch this guy”

and in same post

”Sox should overpitch this guy! What one more batter is going to kill him?!??”

Adding a healthy Moncada to this lineup next year is going to be like adding Rendon or Machado.

I mean....it's going to be unfair to opposing pitchers. Then Vaughn as well. They can get away with Engel in RF.

Definitely gave a very specific, detailed report on the long term effects there. Good post

Ir's fine if someone else says "both covid and a bad year," but if I say it? I'm an EXPERT

I recommend to anyone who doesn't have one of the season ticket packages to get on board for next year which should be even better if we're allowed in.

He's just doing that new dance craze "the worm".

I wish I could afford it. :(

20 game package is affordable and they allow you to pay in 10 installments with no interest.

Without going into much detail, I have Asperger's and have been chronically underemployed my entire adult life. It is what it is.

It's just not feasible.

They aren’t starting Engel in RF next year

Idk dude....do you want a SP upgrade or not? They might have to choose.

I mean....I'd love to add Conforto or Nimmo but I think the aforementioned Pederson/Engel platoon is more likely.

There are cheap alternatives to Engel that would still allow us to upgrade the rotation.

Who? You know they're going to want a LH bat in there.

Yeah. Surprised you didn't know. I've been pretty open about it on this board.

My stepson has Asperger's. He is 23 and has great anxiety around people and in any social situations.

Yesh, I'd rather not overpitch the shutdown closer as opposed to the not-good middle reliever. The Sox were and would continue to be just fine without Jace Fry. I don't think that would be the case without Colome

Make sense now?
