  • I'm sorry but why the f%$# is Mazara in the lineup again?  He has looked awful and Engel busted his ass twice down the line to get infield singles last night.  I disapprove of this greatly!!

this is looking like one of those nights. Need something big to happen here, like strand Cruz after this leadoff double.

That was horrible by McCann

That was a strike

Nah, get Lucas the experience.

We have only trailed in this series with our ace on the mound....baseball is weird

Robert's throws are quasisubcromulent.

I’d rather have Keuchel in the second spot come the wildcard round anyways in case we shit the bed game one. A veteran who has been there could pick up the ball club as where if Gio has playoff gitters in a game 2 We could see a playoff exit very quickly

That pitch was a beaut!

Robert's last 2 weeks: 150/255/225 and a 37% K rate. Ouch ?

It hasn’t been pretty for awhile. But he’s still a well above average player even in his current state. He’s getting invaluable experience and will certainly improve. Hope something clicks before the playoffs tho.

I kid, if anything today will motivate him to show up when we really are going to need him to

We are losing of course we now can pitch with Detwiler

How did we let Cruz get to third on a ball hit that hard?

Here comes Byron Dimaggio. Hopefully they can figure out how to get him out

If you keep throwing them consecutive change ups, they'll sit on it.

:hawk:

Kept the Sox in it!  Bloop and blast time

He Gone

Even with sub-optimal stuff, Gio with the QS. It is on the offense now.

Way to gut through the game Gio, better luck next game. Thanks for the 6 innings

Our ace doesn't have his best stuff tonight.  He's human just like every other ace in the history of the game.  But what separates an ace from other pitchers is that when he doesn't have his lights out stuff, he's still able to keep his team in the game.  Lucas has done just that tonight and has given the Sox a chance to win this game despite the fact he wasn't as dominating as usual.

Great job tonight, Lucas!
