WTF is Stone talking about?

”The Sox didn’t draft him as a starting pitcher but we’ll see what they have in mind with their needs in the future.”

Does he know something we don't?

What a needless personal attack.  From a mod too.  Notice how I never post about other posters only sox baseball.  You mistake my passion for the Sox and the game of baseball.

  • He had no control from the windup against the Twins. I actually talked about this during his last start in the gamethread. Good to see Coop taking my advice to heart. ?

Looks to me like he will be in the bullpen playoff time.

He gave up a hit in his career... unacceptable.

Everything said two months ago by our FO contradicts his statement... my guess is he just misspoke.

Grand slam ties it.

I went back and listened and I believe Stone said the Sox did draft him as a starter

Ah. Good deal, I just need q-tips apparently.

No like 2 - 0 swing while down 4.

I'm kinda halfway watching myself so very easy to misheard him.

That needs to be communicated before he even steps to the plate. How did he even have a green light?

That was a pooper.

Reds dominated us

I don't know how I watched that whole atrocity....get em tomorrow in Cleveland.

7 games left. 3 up in the division. Finish strong.

Just win 2 in Cleveland and we'll probably clinch the central.

really hoping this ump crew doesn’t follow us to Cle...

We need to finish this season strong. No bad play heading into the playoffs.

It’s going to be a fun upcoming week. Let’s see who’s more hungry to win the division.  Hopefully the Sox!

Not happening for who? The Sox or the Twins?

The Twins cannot realistically win the division absent winning out. We have the tie breaker. If Darvish locks them down tonight, they are done. They only have like 5 games left to play after today I think.

I watched until the 9th.  I feel your pain.

Yes, two Tigers, three Reds after tonight.

That's up to the guy who makes the lineup.  Its almost like he doesn't give a fuck if guys aren't hitting

Fangraphs has the Sox at 91.6% chance of winning the division, if the twins lose tonight i would imagine that number shoots up to at least 95%

I was looking at both schedules and I have to say you are probably correct. We have seven games to play versus the Twins five after today. However, they have an easier final stretch than us. They do play against the Reds at home though for the final series and the way the Reds played against us you never know what can happen there. Or like you said the Twins would have to realistically win out to have a chance. We’ll see what happens. That’s why the games are played. If the Cubs win tonight that will make things more difficult for them. It’s scoreboard watching time.
