September 20, 20205 yr What are you all hoping to see over these final 7 regular season games? List out your top three aspirations specifically. Please don’t included obvious items like winning or winning the division. For me it is... 1.) Luis Robert makes adjustments finally and becomes the monster he was in July and August. 2.) Tim Anderson shows his injury today to be insignificant and finishes strong. 3.) The trio of Dunning, Giolito, and D.K. all at least give us quality starts.
September 20, 20205 yr I want 26 innings from our starters in Cleveland, no more new injuries, and Aaron Bummer to come back.

September 20, 20205 yr I'd like to see some signs of life from Robert and Moncada and for the EE experiment to end. Grandal needs to be 1B more with Jose DH and James catching. I'd like to see Dunning cement his spot as 3rd starter for playoffs. I'd like to see a lot more rest for TA, especially now that he has the hamstring issue. They need to be trying to peak at the right time.
September 20, 20205 yr Everyone stays healthy, Moncada and Robert get hot, and Bummer returns strong. Take 3 of 4 from Cleveland to clinch the division and go into the last series with nothing but seeding on the line.
September 21, 20205 yr No new injuries. Aaron Bummer makes an appearance and is considered healthy enough to be named to the playoff roster. Tim Anderson becomes the 15th player in American League history to win two or more consecutive American League Batting Titles
September 21, 20205 yr I'm encouraged Robert got on base a few times today. Want to see that continue. Moncada needs to get on track Get Cease some help Giolito, Keuchel and Dunning should be the rotation in the first series. Add Lopez if we get past that.
September 21, 20205 yr I want to see someone take complete control of that number 3 spot in the rotation. I want to see Madrigal batting second for the remainder of the season. I want to see Moncada revert back to a quality player.
September 21, 20205 yr I'd like to see them win the division. It's a broad one, but Minnesota is only 2 out and the Sox get to deal with CLE's pitching for the next 4 days while the Twins get the Tigers for 3. It's entirely plausible they do not win it and that would be disheartening. In order to do so, that's when we can get into specifics- better play from Moncada and Robert, longer starts from the SP's & Renteria figuring out that Encarnacion is a pile of shit.

The Twins only play the Tigers twice. The Twins have 5 games remaining and the Sox have 7 games remaining now. The Twins have an off day tomorrow and on Thursday whereas the Sox don’t have any off days for the remainder of the season. Edited September 21, 20205 yr by maloney.adam

If we lose 3 of 4 to Cleveland and lose 2 of 3 to the Cubs, the Twins would still have to go 4-1 in their last 5 to win the division.

A single weekend win versus the Cubs or a CLE loss to PTG would end their hopes. Let’s just minimum split with CLE and wrap up the central with one more W or a MiN L. This CAN and SHOULD happen. September 21, 20205 yr I want Robert to focus on his plate discipline, Cease to try to work on his control, and the team to focus on Cleveland and then shut down their injured guys for the rest of the regular season so that they can be rested for the playoffs.

We can’t in any way count on Pittsburg to win any games in the final series. ?
September 21, 20205 yr I want to see a consistent starting lineup for 4-5 games in a row and then some rest. Anderson, Grandal, Abreu, Eloy, McCann, Moncada, Robert, Engel and Madrigal. We've only seen that twice this year. Needs to happen this week. Mazara and EE have had their chances.
September 21, 20205 yr I'd like professional looking at bats from Moncada and Robert....McCann more at bats to get him ready for the post season....Bummer back and ready to go for the playoffs.
