And for the record, I love going into the playoffs overdue for a win streak.

EE down to .159 average for the year. He’s Dunn.

  • dude it makes no damn difference what team they play in the first rd, they're getting bounced  this is the downside of a 60 game season, what you see after 60 might not be who they really are.  v

  • Too many negative comments to rebut here. To me the bottom line is most people didn’t even think we would be Looking at the  Playoffs this year. Be happy with that and knowing things aren’t over till

It's not going to matter but isn't that such a Minnesota Twins way to score a run? Runner on third, 2 outs, Gonzalez struck out looking. They appealed that Gray balked and the ump called it after a review. 1-0.

can we all agree that regardless of whether the sox win any games in the playoffs or not, if EE is in the lineup over McCann then that means Renteria really doesn't give a shit about putting his team in the best possible position to win games?

It’s plain straight up pitiful.

Ricky should really be fired if they get swept this coming week. He pushed all the wrong buttons this week on and off the field.

What happened

Foles has made today a lot less miserable.

I don"t care who they played.

That was spectacular.

The Sox need to watch a replay of that game.

Only if they get swept?

Ricky should be gone unless they win the WS.

I didn't see it but my buddy is a Twins fan and said that Gonzalez struck out, Minnesota challenged a balk and won it. So the runner at third scored instead of it being strike 3 and inning over.

Orioles up 6-4.

We're getting an up close look at why he was fired by the northside team.

Not sure if he has say over Encarnacion's playing time. Hahn is his boss, Hahn gave him Grandal, Parrot and Mazara to play, and they are playing.

They better not even consider EE for the postseason lineup. Should have been released weeks ago.

Gotta be Eloy if he can go.  If not it needs to be Grandal at 1st/Abreu DH. No way they can think it’s ok to pencil in EE and or Mazara into Wild Card games and expect to win.  The evidence is there - far too many empty at bats in meaningful games.

We're either playing the Yankees at home or Twins on the road.

Blue Jays just went down by 2, meaning if all current scores hold, we get the Yanks, so...

C’mon Blue Jays! Don’t you want a date with us?!

Damn Blue Jays

Cole might no-hit the Sox

Better than Cleveland but still not ideal.

Hahn knew why he was fired and still hired him.  Absolutely unacceptable

At least we’re not the Phillies. Everything they need is happening, but they’re getting shut down by a Rays team that is entirely focused on Tuesday. Looks like they’ll be sitting out.

Remember when Tilson hit a grand slam off him last year?

Engel solo shot!

More please!
