EE down to .159 average for the year. He’s Dunn.

  • dude it makes no damn difference what team they play in the first rd, they're getting bounced  this is the downside of a 60 game season, what you see after 60 might not be who they really are.  v

  • Too many negative comments to rebut here. To me the bottom line is most people didn’t even think we would be Looking at the  Playoffs this year. Be happy with that and knowing things aren’t over till

Let’s go. Outcome number 2!

Yeah, I think scenario 2 would be ideal.

they updated 3-6 to include that Toronto will replace Yankees if Blue Jays win and Yankees lose. Honestly 4v5 at home vs the blue jays sounds pretty nice.

Today’s gonna be bananas.

Still need to maximize those Encarnacion ABs I see.  To the bitter end.

Jose Abreu one of eight AL players to play every game.

Starling Marte will have played 61 games because of getting traded and the overlap in Dbacks and Marlins schedules.

Cubs are locked into the 3 seed.  It would be nice if they didn't try today.

Cincinnati @ Minnesota, Sunny Gray vs Rich Hill.  Reds could still finish 2nd in the Central and be a 5 or 6 seed.

Old Friend Frankie Montas on the Hill for the As in Oakland.

Marlins @ Yankees, Os at Blue Jays, both games of consequence for seeding

Let us strive mightily to win (!!) and enjoy some scoreboard watching.

We are missing Eloy the Cub Killer in the line-up.

Engel , Mazara and EE  could each go  0 for 4. That   would amount to 12 of the 27 outs, and that is a lot to spot any team.

The home plate ump has to give ReyLo and our relievers some strike calls on the corners. Otherwise it could be a long afternoon.

Today needs to be viewed as a bullpen day with Monday off and a break before the ALDS starts. Lopez gets a short leash, especially if the Reds are winning and the Yanks are losing early in those games.

The Cubs are mostly tanking this game.

Why would that guy do all the work of those scenarios?  Why not just wait until the games are over today and see how it lines up?

My brain hurts from imagining such a waste of time ??

Is that a tanking/Sunday lineup?  I have no idea who half of their regulars are.

They are locked into the 3, so yes, they don't care about today. Subsequently it's great to see Encarnacion and Grandal back in there today ?

Thought someone said yesterday Sox lose tiebreaker to Oakland? Would LOVE to play Astros at home first round.

Cubs trying to give us the game at this point

Are the Reds resting players too?

I feel like EE has been hitting the ball harder of recent. Would be pretty big if he went on one his hot streaks to start the playoffs

Nope. They have their usual lineup vs. lefties out there.

But Lopez is right handed

Yeah, if by harder you mean higher in the air on his short fly outs, then yes he is

got it. Thanks, makes sense now.  So that is a "Sunday" lineup for the scrubs then.

Looks like rain today. What happens if it's rained out? Play tomorrow?
