Following historic trends, I present to you your new White Sox Manager......Gordon Beckham!

How many times would he trip over the mound when he came out to bring in a reliever? ;)

Brucey needs to mute his mic the rest of this presser

Do they need managerial experience?  Will "metrics" knowledge be important?  Experience will be ideal, but not necessary, as they won't want to limit themselves. Does mention Baldelli.  Does need modern knowledge.

Hahn just said they want a manager with recent championship level experience.

Hinch ...

Was going to say that really narrows it down to Hinch and Cora lol

It is reasonable to believe we have opened our window.  Want to augment the core, they have flaws, but want to add to that and fill those holes.  Have championships asperations, and should be an attractive destination and able to go on an extended run.

Honestly - the more telling thing this is saying while getting rid of RR is that the Sox will keep buying and it should be a FUN offseason.

And for those that refuse to accept it, this does NOT describe Ozzie Guillen.

Add Paul Sullivan to this list as well.

I wish jim fregosi was still alive. the man looked like a leader in his  windbreaker. I don't ever remember seeing his jersey once. Even in july and august.

Asking about the "mutual" parting.  Said it came from their honest discussions, still won't say anything bad, or get into the personal discussions around it.

Yep that’s my optimistic take as well.

Hahn's GM speak remains hilarious

The look on Hahn's face when asked "Rick I know you are probably upset about not winning the division and those last 7 games....."

He looked livid

4th year of the rebuild...whew

Lol at his shoutout to Baldelli as someone who has succeeded after not managing. 6 straight postseason losses.

That was a good 4th year of the rebuild. Doesn't mean they are satisified or not aiming higher.
