Rudolph La Russa. Get some help dude. The whole beer and baseball thing could use a tweak.

Only one thing to say now. "You're Fired"!

They have no choice but to fire him. Better that they found this out now before he really took over the team.

Is there a manager opening down at AA?

I think this works out for the Sox; I think La Russa inevitably steps down because he doesn't want to deal with this shit that he caused.

Hopefully, stranger things have happened. The players need to just refuse to play for him. It’s too bad there’s no SoxFest this year.

We need to show TLR's new account what Twitter is all about.

Serious question now: anyone here who would not take Renteria back right now, if those were the only 2 options?

But they aren’t the only two options Jerry

They knew when they hired him. Why would they fire him now?

Thing is, it doesn’t even seem like he really wants to manage anymore. Makes you wonder if he said yes as a favor to Jerry (and knowing there’s free beer in the clubhouse)

Sadly, I don’t think this is going to change a thing unless La Russa himself or his family convince him that Reinsdorf and a few other people are the only ones who want him there.

I don’t think they fire him...but maybe we get lucky and he decides this isn’t worth it.

this is the dream.

IF they knew this, and hired him anyway, Reinny is even more screwed up than anyone thought he was.

As much as I would love for La Russa to quit or get fired, the Sox knew he was charged and still hired him, why would they (they being Jerry) fire him

I truly hope this ends up being the case.

Why on Earth are other people in the front office ok with this? Do they want literal blood on their hands if he does it again midseason?

It's not if though. They knew. A Sox spokesman confirmed.

Just wonderful.

Yep! Can the Sox look any worse right now?  They need to part ways NOW!

That’s my hope.  Why subject yourself to the scrutiny and scorn at this point?

Rick after the news was "leaked" by Passan:

Rick Hahn had a guy who just had charges filed in his second DUI the day before hired over his objections and it wasn't enough for him to stand up and resign. Someone should smack him if he's smiling today.

I'm still wondering if it's a "they" or a "he"

It doesn’t sound like they are ok with it.  Jerry and Tony have all the power right now.

When did this news come about?
