You can't get behind 2-0 against a quality hitter and throw a 97 hittable pitch like that.

On the plus side, the way this game started out, there was no way Cease was going to escape without a loss.

 

The suddenly hittable bullpen has more holes than the Titanic right now.

Shades of past seasons. The Sox scratch their way back into the game only to see a relief pitcher give it back on a homer to the first batter he faces

With exception of opening day, TLR (and defense) is making this bullpen look bad.
