Time for Hahn to go all "moneyball" and just DFA Nick Williams and Jake Lamb.  "Sorry, Tony, you can't start those guys tonight....they're no longer on the team"

  • More convinced than ever that Kenny is his dad.

I don’t see how he’s going to stick as a starter.

He was drafted 4th overall though

Madrigal’s contact has been weaker than ever. He’s not even close to hitting line drives

350-380 OBP is a useful player in the lineup.

Menechino needs to tell our hitters to be a little more patient at the plate.

Problem is they’re taking pitches over the plate and then chasing bad pitches. Bieber is great of course, but they don’t seem to have any plan tonight.

Neither Madrigal nor Vaughn will keep up .350 OBPs if they continue hitting .200.

As a baseball fan, you love to see these pitchers duels.

Not if there’s no slugging and mediocre everything else.  Teams will challenge him a lot more if he can’t get the ball out of the infield.

Someone paint an aluminum bat to make it look wood and give it to Madrigal.

Got to imagine this is Lucas' last inning. Who next?

Jeebus Jason what are you going on about?

I'll say this much....defense has been terrible so far this season, but they are throwing some leather tonight, really backing Gio up big time.

Time to mute the broadcast

Nick has so far. However I would guess the average goes up. The approach is too good.

Has to be Crochet right?

Naylor loves those KC specials.

Does Naylor ever know where he hits the ball?

He’s missing his spot on nearly every fastball. Amazing he’s done as well as he has.

It's still useful without the slugging. Someone needs to get on base in this lineup of free swinging.

No he hasn’t, his OBP has dropped to .333 after his groundouts tonight.

Gio missing spots for sure now, hopefully he gets this last out, and the pen takes over.

His contact is too soft right now. Hard to find a lot of holes if the ball is so weakly hit. Last year he seemed to at least hit the ball on a line more often.

Hell of an outing for Giolito!!  Get a run and make him the winner
