    LaRussa had a chance to reward Vaughn for his progress of late, and took a pass on it.  Not sure I see the wisdom in that.

    I get Leury isn’t a power guy, but he did have a great day yesterday and they need baserunners. It wasn’t completely stupid to pinch hit him there.
