He said he was told to prepare for emergency podcast. That doesn’t sound like a good thing.

  • Correct.  But if they aren't even considering surgery than it isn't a bad grade 3 tear. So the likelihood of long term issues is greatly diminished.

Supposedly out 4 months

If he is out 4 months they need to bring someone in.

Hahn should be on the phone trying to acquire Gallo, ASAP

barf..  I hate both options honestly. If he's out 4 months (basically the whole year), then we (likely) won't make the playoffs... so is it worth trading legit assets for some hold over?  idk... This would be bad

Never know if anyone is worth trusting but that appears to be the news. Maybe they're citing the upper echelon of the projection. Who knows. He'd be back for the final month of the season.

I'm going to become the Joker

If you could get bryant for some mid level prospects, I'd give it a try that's for sure

Gallo or Bryant type should be added however it’s going to be someone like Nicky Delmonico ?

Upgrades needed but no longer thinking they should go all in.  Surgery seems like it would mean a massive injury.

I cant see the Cubs trading Bryant to the Sox without getting back so,etching they could really hang their hats on. They can get mid level guys from anywhere and not help the Sox out.

You go get Gallo and try to win the division

Cespedes is still sitting out there on the market....just sayin.

Oh i'm smelling the "time to sell" posts coming and I'm ready for an argument.

At this point you just hope he can come back with the same speed and quickness he had. It would be an even bigger disaster if this made him a corner OF or a DH/1B.

He's walking and a half year of a position player who's been a bit inconsistent usually doesn't equal star prospects.

Would you if they’re 8-10 games out and Rodon and Lynn are pitching well?

Already being called for by a certain pessimistic poster.

He's played less than 50 games the last 3 years and can't play the OF.  Not really sure what the value would be of bringing him in.

Jack already said they should sell Rodon and Lynn

I think they should sell the guys on one year deals, go to war with what they have otherwise and hope for the best.

There it is from the usual! 8-10 games out of first to who? The Royals?

I'd sell those 2 haha

He’s better than the Nicky Delmonico’s of the world that we are bound and determined to place in the lineup, that’s why.
