Stop taking your best hitter Vaughn out of every ballgame. Stop putting Billy Hamilton in every ballgame. Stop bunting.

Abreu from 380 (2020) to 182 against fastballs, battling a finger injury as well.

Abreu has been battling a finger injury?

White Sox are leading or close to league lead in DRS, a lot of it having to do with Moncada, Robert and Anderson...

No Rex Hudler, that’s not a curve, it’s his loopier slider.

Gonna quote you on this for a dumb hot take. I'll revisit it in an hour or 2.

Game threads are full of hot takes.  Everyone knows that.

DIRTY.... Rodon not regressing... He's for real

Quite amazing considering those first 2 or 3 series of the season where it looked like they were playing little league.

Robert now gone, see how that changes things in the outfield until Engel is ready, and we'll see if Anderson can hold up defensively.

His bat is painfully slow this year. This might be the end, tbh. This is why you don't trade Yermin this offseason...

I’m just not going to expect Engel until June the way things are going....plus 7-10 days at Charlotte to rehab and test it out.

This is a quiet game thread for a Friday night. Assuming most posters still have PTSD from last game?

Without Grandal, Abreu hitting, or an outfield addition of sigificance...no way they can do much more besides hover around 8-12 games over .500 or so.  That might be enough.

Everyone’s out on Tinder dates or busy changing diapers with their Tinder dates they had 6 years ago.

Just jumping in but Jose looks lost at the plate

Greg is probably hyped.

You ain't wrong. Those who are watching are in-between those outcomes.

I can live with this.

Nope

These are the days I miss Matt Davidson.

Other than TA, Moncada, Yermin, Vaughn and Madrigal...not much to watch offensively.

Eloy and Robert comprised about half the excitement value, t.v. viewing-wise.

Hot knife through butter with this zone.

You mean against the Royals or pitching or his flowing ginger locks?

Vaughn going to ever hit a homerun?

We’re not exactly elevating his pitch count early in this one.

Everyone is quietly waiting to see what LaRussa's next blunder will be.
