If he were healthy, I'd be fine with giving Luis Gonzalez a shot in CF. You can't keep trotting sub replacement level players out there and expecting better results.

Even with Eloy, this team is still not too high on the power. Pretty much why many were advocating for a power OF bat in the offseason instead of Eaton. But no doubt Eloy (and Robert now) is a huge loss.

I'm not so sure. Yermin has given us 5 so maybe Eloy doubles that if he got off to a great start.

We were third in HRs last year and 5th in ISO.  We replaced the worst DH in the league with a legit power hitter in Mercedes and a RF who hit one HR with a guy who will hit 10+.  Other than 2B & RF we have hitters at every position that should all hit 20 to 40 HRs.  If healthy and if Tony doesn’t overplay the slap factory we should have plenty of power.

Rodon is just a different animal this year, so far. And of course, contract year. But still, enjoying the work so far.
