I liked McCann a lot. A pro‘s pro. But everyone with half a brain could see that he was getting favorable matchups with the Sox.

The Sox made a great dumpster dive sign with McCann, maximized his value, then set him up for FA success last year in optimal spots knowing he would go fuck some other team over after signing a nice contract. 4D chess! Also great player relations, you're welcome James!
