they just put up 9 runs in 3.1 IP against a guy with a 1.99 era

if ever there was an obvious candidate for regression, it was Happ against the Sox---a lefty with a low ERA and much higher FIP. but we had to execute all the same. i could basically watch an infinite number of white sox beatdowns against the twins and be eternally entertained

  • There's no reason for Mendick to hit below Hamilton.

The pedant in me thought "Wow, there's a chance he may throw with his right hand tonight? impressive."

  • Leury 4 for 9 against Happ so of course that’s the game he’s benched

Jose's defense is gold glove worthy the past 2 years. Just an amazing transformation for him.

Hamilton changes the whole complexion of the offense....can't imagine it with a healthy Jimenez/Robert and then subbing in Hamilton/Engel late to disrupt things and play defense on the corners with Robert in CF.

Engel actually has sprint speeds higher than even Robert from last year.

We need to see a Hamilton/Robert/Engel outfield at least once.

This team is just firing on all cylinders right now. Been awesome to watch over the last 10 days

dallas keeping the ball down nicely now, good job bro.

Wow!  Since when is Abreu a good fielder?

His advanced metrics the last 2 years have been pretty good. They used to be bad.

The last couple of years now.

I am starting to really believe they just really do suck though

I was thinking the Twins were to this Sox team what the Red Wings were to the Kane/Toews Hawks. They’d have to get past them to get over the hump and be a great team. But maybe the Twins are just bad now...

Need to get 6 out of him with a lead this big and his current pitch count.

Good job recovering the past few innings for Dallas

At this rate they are going to burn out Ruiz before July...

Nice quick inning.

I think your being conservative with the way Robert was playing

A healthy Eloy and Luis in this lineup nobody is going to want to face the Sox!

I wrote 10 but it felt a bit optimistic so went with 8. I think you might be right.

You know you'll get your haters..

I know everyone likes to hate on Yaz for his BA, but this dude is finding ways to keep contributing offensively. Walks can be killers.

And now he just destroyed a ball. Lol.

Yas!!!

CRUSHED!!!

Yas has the dirtiest bat drop haha...so wrong, and so right.

putz, more like...oh wait

Grandal heating up!
