I know it's been said here before but I've never seen him until tonight...Beckham is very good in the post game.

Nothing against @South Side Hit Men, but shouldn’t someone else be starting this thread given we lost game 1?  Not sure if double-headers have special rules, but I wouldn’t temp the baseball gods afte

  • Yeah, typically, once the Sox lose, your GT starting duties are over, for some period of time.   That being said, seeing that lineup, I’m not sure anyone else would voluntarily start the GT,

Lineup construction is overrated until you bat someone with a career .280 OBP vs RHP in the 2nd spot. Put terrible hitters in prominent lineup positions and the game will find them.

I'd like to thank Michael (Kopech) for giving his shorthanded team a chance in this game.

Hey Lucas, take note.   Be the damn ACE.

Can’t believe they won a game without Abreu, Anderson, Eloy, Robert and Grandal.  Arguably their 4 best hitters...and Grandal

Do we also get to give the middle finger for all the busted high draft picks that we sometimes don’t have the budgetary resources to cover for?

This is going to be a rough season for you.

This team has 6 of its own 1st round picks on the active roster.

I‘ll just go ahead and post caulfield‘s response for him.

We must not forget about:Lance Broadway

Rocky Biddle

Matt Ginter

Kip Wells

Keon Barnum

Courtney Hawkins

Carson Fulmer

Kris Honel.and other failed first round picks. No other team ever drafts busts in the first round.

Something about Tatis/Puig and the Kansas City Royals.

Damn millennials!

Since 2013 the only 1st round draft pick to not hit the show is Jake burger. To me that seems like a really fucking high hit rate in the first round. So who busted?

Fulmer, Rodon until accidentally this year, Zack Burdi, Hawkins in 2012, Keon Barnum.

Some are going to continue to argue over Madrigal’s worth or value going forward.
