It might also be because pitchers have that scouting report on him and won't throw him anything close in 2 strike counts. He was definitely giving better ABs in April though.

Morneau played his last season in mlb for the Sox and his statline was pretty meh. Completely forgot about that. But I like.to pretend the 2016 season never happened for a reason ?
