You really think La Russa is making that call?

100%. I don't think he comes out of spring training with another manager. At least not till August/September.

Sure is an interesting way to develop a starting pitcher.

I still don’t think he is one. And not in a bad way.

There is an episode where he did right?

Michael Scott has nothing on Tony in the gaffe department.

They lose this, it's one of those games where the season can come of the rails.

He Gone.  1 down.

Bingo.

Get a ground ball and finish this

So he’s a set up man for the next 3 years?

Are you high? He needs a couple tweaks not a total redo

That bizarre leg kick is pretty substantial IMO.

They need to just send Crochet down for awhile and let him build up some innings...then recall him in September for the bullpen.

So good when he can throw that slider off the ground

Hahn announced he'd be coming out of the bullpen before spring training even started.

This has an opportunity to be another of those 'character building' outings for Liam, for the team and the fans.

He Gone!

They had no chance there

96 to 97.7 was the velocity range on his fastballs....most were high 96/low 97.

You honestly think that was his call? Or do you still believe Hendriks was also his call?

I also did put "Sox management" in my sentence as well as La Russa.

Not quite a save situation because tying run's not up to bat?

Or can he be "in the hole"?

It’s not egregious. The arm action is weirder than the leg kick. But it’s more about where his body is at when he releases the ball. Balance and continuum in the body.

I can’t tell as much from tv anymore. Just looks off to me. Just a little, but for a guy like him that makes a big difference. It’s a high maintenance delivery, and I don’t see it holding up for 5-6 innings. Others disagree.

Tying run is on deck. It’s a save opportunity

Is this some new iteration of everything Rick Hahn=good, everything Kenny Williams=bad? Except now even more weirdly La Russa?

It 'should' be, because when he came in, assume 3 runners on bases and no outs, that is 3 run rule.

Fuck not liking this

Just throw it down the middle and see how far he can hit it. No walks

Yes it is. No one knows what goes on behind the scenes unless they don't like it. Then it's the person they don't like at fault.
