    I'm generally in favor of swinging 3-0 but NEVER with the bases loaded.

    For him as a rookie, take 3-0 there. Don’t like a swing in that situation. At least Means threw a lot of pitches.

    After he’s already walked two and plunked one, and with a 3-0 count, you can’t help him out.  Make him throw a strike.  TAKE!

    The walk is way too valuable there. In a 3-0 count you gotta take at least once, probably twice.
