Because he sucks. He hits around mendoza with a .330 OBP. Good power but that's not good enough.

He's got a .390 OBP this year, the same as he had 2 years ago.

I had enough of the Adam Dunn experience from 2011-14. 

Gallo doesn't even walk as much as Dunn did with less power and a similar BA. 

If you hated Dunn with the Sox, you'd Really hate Gallo because he's worse as a hitter.

He has a .388 OBP, nearly 3 WAR and a 140 wRC+.
