It just sucks that this team is struggling not because of Burger, Sheets, Hamilton, or even Goodwin and Leury being thrust into every day play.  They’re struggling because of Anderson, Moncada, Abreu,

Team is just going through the motions tonight.  Lack of sticky is really hurting some of the starters.

I thought after the Twins series at home the Sox were waking up and climbing out of their funk. Doesn’t appear so. Luckily Cleveland keeps losing but we should have atleast a 9 game lead right now. Cmon Sox wake up!

When you play in the worst division hoping everyone else loses cuz they are not bad enough.

What kind of defensive positioning was that?

At some point the organization may need to address a 6 man rotation as the starters have been beaten up over the last couple of times through. Need to at a minimum skip some guys.

Starters have overachieved big time this year. We all knew this was coming, it’s time for offense to start out-slugging teams

I sense a big inning for the twins......unfortunately

Sox look completely flat tonight.

Cease, Keuchel, and Giolito all piss me off on a regular basis.

If you're going to throw him nothing but off speed you better make sure you shift the infield to the right. I'm not sure what Tim was doing at DP depth at SS.

Twins without their 2 best players and we completely shit the bed tonight to start the game.

If strikeouts go down around the league due to lack of sticky, then the Sox antiquated positioning will be exposed the next few months.

Goes to show that we need to trade for some power.

Cease and goilito eras over 4

Give Dylan credit......he is bouncing back

When you are first place visiting last place you have to act like it.

Alright.......let's get the bats going......

good job of getting out of that with only 1

Nice little come back that inning from cease.

I don't know if the data backs this up, but Lynn and Rodon seem to get more swings and misses on pitches in the zone than the other three. They are more reliant on getting guys to chase outside the zone and when they don't do that it's trouble.

No ball hit over 91 mph that inning. We've had some awful batted ball luck against us the last 2 games.

Dylan “Jekyll and Hyde” Cease.

OBER looking like a Cy Young candidate

Jose...........that was F'ing ridiculous
