Abreu knows what to do, when you get a fastball. Learn something from your vet, rest of the lineup!

  • As pissed off as we were about everything today, that’s a nice palate cleanser and absolutely crushing for Minnesota

Blows my mind that some of our fans still believe: 1. Players will never get hurt 2. There's no such thing as a bench player. Sheets has the potential to believe a LH power bat who can

Ha each team winning a game they shouldn’t have. Baseball is so weird.

Love to see Abreu lifting the ball vs a quality RHP. That's been a rare sight so far this year.

Why? He’s a quite useful pen piece as is. I’m nowhere near in support of how they’ve used Kopech this year, but the dudes been unhittable. Only way I want him throwing AAA innings is if they option him to get a year back. And that ship sailed in May.

2 or 3 unhittable innings vs getting his arm stretched back out, the extra work should have been the priority.

If we are that desperate for every win right now, the GM has spent a month not addressing second base. That woulda been at least as valuable as those couple innings.

Jose!

Starting were they left off on offense.

Or not. Lol

Looked a lot like his last at bat in game one.

413 ft, 107 MPH

Not a strike

2 really good PAs from Jose against 2 pretty good right handed pitchers. Both on fastballs too, very encouraging.

Good thing Eloy and Robert are on the way back as it seems regression is starting to set in on Goodwin

??

My god he sucks

He’s still Rey Lo from the block.

Yep, still the same Reynaldo Lopez.

Classic Reylo

He still sucks! I never want to see him again.  Seriously

Reynaldo still sucks!

It’s just baffling that they thought this was a good idea

He just can't help but hang sliders. I remember Cooper nearly had an aneurism to tell him to not get under it.

Crazy that Lopez isn't having success in the majors given he had a 6.49 era in Charlotte.

Lopez is a mental case time to cut bait

Wow who didnt see this coming.  Afew hard hit balls through 5 batters.

May see a position player pitch in this one

should we have expected different

Please make this his last inning tony
