with a 9.5 game lead and the team on pace for 100 wins you can shrug off nights like tonight.  That said, the offense really needs to get its stars back.  The warts with the AAA taxi squad are showing.

I don't really care what they do with Keuchel. IMO he doesn't even need to be on the playoff roster.

You go out and get 2 RH relievers in trades and roll with it. Do people not understand that if Kopech only gets 65-75 innings this year...he won't be a starter for all of next season? 
Kopech has not shown himself to be able to pitch 2 innings multiple days in a row. His role should not be defined by the lack of talent in RH relievers currently.

this isnt a game we deserve to win with all the double plays and poor pitching. The off day will do them well tomorrow.

Collins has become useless.

Offense just sleep walking tonight. Can't chain hits together and hitting the ball into the ground for double plays at the worst times. 

We need a playable catcher until Yaz comes back.
