ump fucking him too.

Collins doesn't help at all. He's also had piss poor control so the ump isn't gonna give him calls when the catcher jabs at the ball.

lol wait until the Sox lose a playoff game because Collins can't catch a baseball

Particularly against our high octane pitching.

That’s what happens when you’re not noted for your control by umpires…the anti-Grandal.

Whatever.  No excuse for the 2 missed calls.  Should be 2 outs now.

Cease getting squeezed big time

This is like late 2020 Cease tonight.

Umpires are used to catchers framing pitches. When they see someone not do it, it has to mess with their decision making.

Sit down

Cease sucks the life out of everything.

He's not making it into the 5th.  Already at 60 pitches

hopefully that puts a charge in Cease, Donaldson looked stupid

He has given up a single run.

After the home run he has looked better.  Inning should be over if not for bs calls.

well he's found it a little bit.

that home run knocked something loose with dylan

hes waking up

Nice recovery for Dylan

If you read the threads but dont watch, you would always think the Sox are down 10-0 every game.

A little bit? He struck out 4 guys

Exactly,  he settled down after the home run.  Hope it carries over till next inning.

1 run in 3 innings.  Can't expect much more from your 4th or 5th starter.  Sox are spoiled with starting pitching.

what you want me to do, fellate his balls?

Would be really interested to see what Cease's WHIP is when his team is losing, but I have no idea how to look that up easily

could you?

People do get a little spoiled by 60% of the rotation being aces, I suppose. Every Cease and Keuchel start is an adventure in the game threads.

I'll book a flight right now.
