He is and I’d take him for the right price, but I can’t see the Cubs trading a fan favorite to the Sox for anything short of a haul and he’s simply not worth a massive price.

What would Cease have to do with a Tepera trade?  Thinking Lambert was the return?  If so, why was he starting yesterday at all?  This stuff was out well before 7pm.  Lopez makes more sense, and if Portillos actually knows anything (doubtful, but maybe if fed some little crumbs), he basically insinuated it was Tepera for Lopez.

Keeping Lopez around to start for an absent Cease

The ReyLo/Tepera trade was supposedly a done deal yesterday but now it isn't, then Lambert got pulled from his start and the Sox starters this weekend all got changed to TBD, so the speculation is that something might have happened with Cease or one of the other starters that changed everything.
