It could change his speed but that really wasn't his game anyway.

It's hard to be slower than he already was. I think only Pujols and Wilson Ramos were slower than him.

I don’t see the point in complaining about Goodwin. Whining about a backup for not playing like a starter is like whining about a fifth starter for not being an ace.  He’s a bench player who’s been su

  • Who gets the walk off today?  Goodwin or Leury?  Hey...I'm serious.

  • Brian silenced his many sorry ass detractors on this board today. The bat flip was for all of them. I friggin loved it !!

Love this team!!!!!!!

Not a single hard hit ball off Quantrill so far.

Can’t solve Quantrill!  What a surprise!

As Steve Kerr once said"80% of slow is still slow."

Really liking the Cesar Hernandez addition so far. Just a professional hitter.

Not a dark cloud.  They're slumping,  I'm waiting for them to come out of it.

Our stars just ain’t hitting.

Great AB’s from Tim and Jose that inning.

Our top of the order blows

Timmy, Yoan and Abreu need to turn it around quickly

This is the primary issue right now. Best players need to be the best players.

They aren't hitting bad pitching. That is a big concern.

If you think everything is fine right now good for you.  Some of us don't enjoy the way they have been playing.

Quantrill is not a bad pitcher. But your point over the last few weeks is still valid.

Lopez is still hanging sliders, although maybe with less regularity.

Everything is not fine. This team need to pass a stone or something.

Correct. I don't mean today necessarily, but the past 3 weeks or so.

Hardly any Sox fans have enjoyed the past three series. Some have a longer term perspective, or at least do not fear a complete Sox collapse. Every team in baseball hits a rough patch at some point during the season.

He also has our number. He had a 1.74 ERA coming into today against us in 10 innings.

Lol. I wish it would happen now.

Didn’t you say you wouldn’t worry until it was under 7.5 games?

I didn’t. It is over no matter what.

I have a long term perspective.  Still annoying how they're looking recently is all.  I need better patience I admit.
