The next time Cease gives himself a shot at pitching into the 8th, with pitch counts, will be the first time.

This isn't a lineup Cease needs to be so precise with. He has been dominant in the strike zone tonight. Throw it in the zone and he should be fine.

It's interesting that the outfield was playing Benintendi as an opposite field hitter. If they were playing straight up Leury probably catches that foul ball on 2-2.

He's just never gonna go real deep in games unless he stops walking people and getting into deep counts with just about every hitter.
