You know they aren't going to score at all today? Because if not, 0-0 in the 6th inning with 2-4 in the Twins lineup batting is a very high leverage situation.

what a bunch of crybabies in here.   TLR crybabies, especially. Grow up, theyre 10 games up in mid august with an important stretch of games coming up.

JFC, no. It’s not “crybabyism” to point out a handful of ridiculously easy decisions a child could have made that our manager didn’t in either game. Those decisions put us in a much worse position to

Or.  Or. He's not paniking and acting like every fucking pitch is the bottom of the fucking 9th in the 7th game of the fucking Worls Series.

It's middle of August.  Roles have been established.  There's absolutely no reason to be tinkering with bullpen roles this late in the season.

Matt Foster is warming...it only gets worse.

The bullpen usage is irrelevant when you can't scratch a damn run against the lowly Twins.

The Sox have gotten 7 stellar innings for a bullpen game.

Agreed, how dare our pitching let up a run!

Should have tried harder to win last night

Why is Collins on this roster?

So cool they let Goodwin, Lamb and Collins face a LHP

You think? I still can't believe Tony let Dallas keep pitching

Collins should've waited in that AB. Leury needed to steal 2nd and 3rd base IMO. That way that would've been a sac fly.

Up to Hernandez now.

Minaya in for Cesar.

Hit a bomb Cesar.

Elite Minnesota Pitching dominating the Sox.

Doesn't seem fair that the White Sox built a super bullpen but MLB rules prohibit them from actually using it until it's the 7th inning AND they already have the lead

Also very unfair that the Sox aren't allowed to pinch hit in lefty vs lefty matchups.

Roles are so well established that our CY Young Candidate SP went on the shelf today.   There's still a lot of volatility in a pitching staff, no matter the month.

It's still a marathon, not a sprint.   Everyone in the pen will continue to play, like it or not.

Both teams seem pretty dead.  I think the noon start is playing a role in the scoring (coupled with our absolute shit lineup).

Are you implying Kopech, Bummer, Tepera, Liam, and Kimbrel have been overused?  Because they've been underused.  They need action.

Twins I understand, but Sox still got some guys that should be hitting in the lineup

Minaya is good now, apparently?

Cesar getting screwed over by this ump

Not a strike.  Meanwhile the at bats with RISP couldn’t be worse

The fears and strengths heading into the season have been flipped.

Tony has been fine in terms of clubhouse, but his game management, particularly bullpen management, has been poor.

You can't give Ober the high strike last inning and call that too.

Golly gosh.

Kopech has pitched 1.2 IP since August 3rd. Hendriks has one appearance since August 1st. Kimbrel has 1.2 IP since August 1st. If these guys are only allowed to pitch in the 7th inning or later when the Sox are ahead, they'll be WAY underutilized and it'll cost the Sox very winnable games.
