Could you guys have imagined how miserable tonight and tomorrow would have been had we lost? Having an off-day after a loss like that would be torture. Thank you TA!

Shoeless Joe wasn't the only White Sox player channeling at the game tonight!

The best part of watching the replay for the 12th time is the shot of the Yankees coach who’s like “everything’s cool” 3 seconds before they get walked off.

Right ?

Holy shit! From pissed off to jubilant in a heartbeat! Great win snatched from the jaws of defeat.

Magic Number: 37

Suck it Yankees! Suck it Yankees fans! Suck home plate umpire who sucked!

damnit it I love you Tim Anderson !

I really need someone to dub the Joe Buck TA7 call over Pods Game 2 WS winner to finally correct the horribly disappointed sounding call me made back then.

Man, no part of the game got me sentimental or gave me chills like it did a lot of people. It was just really cool.

But DJ saying "light it up" for a TA walk off, man, that hits me right in the heart.

From a deflating loss to a exhilarating win...what a great game.

And yeah, we cannot have Hendriks pitching the 9th, especially not in the playoffs, we have options, Kimbrel or Kopech.

If you build it....they will hit a shit load of home runs into the RF cornstalks.

I feel like because this game ended in such a classic fashion that they may do it again for the Sox/Yankees.  Its rare that a one off game like this becomes so memorable.

it's nice that we have *so many* options in the bullpen that we can actually talk about the All-Star closer maybe not being the best option lol

(low key he does seem to blow a lot of saves for a shutdown closer but maybe I just think that cuz I'm irritated about it having just happened)

Indeed. First and only tears tonight after hearing it.

Thinking of Farmeo, and love ones no longer here, in person, to enjoy this game and season.

Yeah, he gives up way too many HRs, doesn't walk or give up many hits but damn he gets squared up way too oten for an "elite" closer.

It is an interesting question...does Kimbrel take over the 9th inning duties?  The # of home runs allowed by Hendriks is a concern.

Anyone know what TA is saying as he rounds the bases.........is it......"game over?"

Hendricks hasn’t pitched since the 1st game of the Cubs series. He looked a little off and has been a little shaky but I think he will turn it around eventually. Way to go TA for putting the team on your back!!!!
