TA's improvement on defense this year has flown under the radar. He's great by the eye test, and elite by most defensive metrics. 93rd percent tile in outs above average is very impressive. He has a shot to win a gold glove this year.

I was looking at Cease's Savant page, his curve and slider heat map is pretty much all blue. Like it's all over the strike zone and outside the zone. The amount of non competitive pitches he throws is alarming.
