Reynaldo just saw his counterpart get blasted in the head so he needs to make sure he's right emotionally and mentally before he goes back out there.

No one can blame him but damn have to imagine he feels just awful.

I mean I don't blame him for feeling like that, not the hit.

Cesar looks really, really bad of late

I feel for the A’s right now.  All they want is the game to be over right now.

I think it would be appropriate for them to forfeit.

Hernandez definitely needs a day off.

i wonder if they'll ever require pitchers to wear face masks like they do in many softball leagues

I’m sure this isn’t the first time he’s played in a game where something like that happened. It’s just an awful possibility that exists.

Tim and Cesar trying to hit grand slams with one guy on base.

Reminds me when Danny was stricken. Forget the game.

wow the fans just fumbled the ball 4 levels in a row.

lol abreu.

I wonder if even a form fitted mask like basketball players wear. That at least would prevent the orbital break if it was carbon fiber

Lamb sure looks excited Stoney. What a stupid comment.  That was his teammate last year.

Top of the order 0-6....doing top of the order stuff

With Lopez and an inconsistent pen? Not a chance.

It happens. That’s why the good teams are deep. Production from all areas

Exactly what I thought.

Most NBA players hate those masks.  They'd really have to advance the tech on masks for them to be comfortable enough to wear and not be a distraction considering pitching motions.

true but we need Abreu and Cesar to get it together on a more consistent basis, same to an extent for TA.  To win in the playoffs Sox need the whole lineup clicking. but overall  yes, this is a deep team and that's great.

I don't the score was the reason it was brought up.  More just the state of mind of the A's players right now.

lol the ump with the delayed call just to fuck with collins.

Ha, Abreu doesn’t want to mess with Harrison’s quickness

TA is playing some of the cockiest defense I've ever seen. I'm here for it.
