It's sad that Keuchel starts are pretty much automatic losses now.

7 of last 9 I believe, and one of those wins was the Cubs comeback

It’s really frustrating. We couldn’t take advantage of Houston losing today. Makes you think that TLR doesn’t care about HFA in the playoffs.

I was told I was an "amateur" for not considering his sprint speed as an indication he is a good outfielder. He was fine as a NRI mid season signing, but he really is a AAAA player, good enough to show signs he can be on a roster, but not a starter in important games.

He seems to only do this with his catchers, rarely takes out Abreu or others even in 10 + run games. When he rests his starters, they may as well wear pajamas, as he will rarely if ever insert them even to pinch hit late in a tie/1 run game.

Right on with TLR managing moves that leave a lot to be desired.

He doesn’t.

They don’t at all, that’s very obvious

You'd think we would have learned after last year.

I wonder if Hahn and the rest of the FO do but they just don’t have a say?

This seems like an organizational strategy. Stoney’s been talking about getting them all rest for weeks.

It is so frustrating the amount of games we have looked like shit since the all-star break. It really has put a damper on the last couple of months. I feel like I have been on auto pilot as a fan just like the team with just not caring that much about these games.

HFA is like RBIs....both overrated and unimportant until they are not.

Wonder if Kopech is going to pitch before the Cleveland series.

Yoan just lost all his pop.

My god I hate this stadium.

Moncada has cost himself like ~5-7 HR's this year just from squaring pitches like that up in pitchers parks rather than at The Rate

I wonder if Melvin tries throwing Trivino in this game.

Every time I've seen Chafin pitch, he's giving up hard contact, but not hard enough to get out of the park.

this game summed up:  Montas very good, Keuchel not very good

I'm very excited about making the playoffs in consecutive seasons for the 1st time ever but very leery that they will be able to just turn it on come playoff time.

His exit velocity numbers and xISO are still pretty good. I think a lot of this is just poor sequencing/bad luck when he's hitting hard fly balls

The problem is it may take some time for everyone to get on the same page when they are all healthy and in the lineup. That may be too late come playoff time. I’m leery that they will just turn it on.

Trying real hard to convince myself that they can split in Hou and take the 2 at home.  It takes some real hubris to believe they’ll just flip a switch after what we’ve watched the past month plus.

I vote to just go to the post game crew now.
