Missed most of this weekends game. Did we actually throw at him?

The White Sox have hit 47 batters this year, last in MLB.  Jose Abreu alone has been hit 19 times.

That suspension for Wright is some bullshit there.  I thought it was too much to even toss him from the game.

Manfred or whoever passes those out is a big ole pos imho.

Pure ass kissing for the MLB cash cow. Abreu has been hit a ton of times yet MLB silent!

I think Abreu is just getting pitched inside a lot and doesn’t make much of an effort to get out of the way. I didn’t think they were throwing at him.

I think LaRussa should get a lifetime ban for hitting Ohtani.

Wright can probably use the money.  $10 grand I bet.

I will point out both Abreu and Robert have been hit in the head. Still waiting for the suspensions.

Can TLR be suspended indefinitely?

I’m thrilled it was only one game. At first, I heard it was 3 games, and I started to get anxiety TLR would be gone that long. 

I agree with TLR and Maddon.  It probably was intentional but this  is bullshit.  Abreu gets hit constantly and we all hold our breath.  They aren't cheapies either.  Some of them are pretty ugly.  I feel like while they might not be htting him intentionally, they don't want to face him and so they get careless.  If you don't want to face him, put him on.  But this is bullshit.

Call it a hunch, but after Wright pitched today, I wouldn't be surprised to see him drop his appeal.

Can Jerry or Tony or the Sox give Wright the $10K or so to cover his lost wages during his suspension, or does the CBA forbid this?

It would seem if they don't want to face him they would be careful not careless.
