At this point you can't depend on him for more than 3 or 4 innings. You have to pair him with a long reliever after.

Kopech for ~4 innings and Rodon for ~2 in a playoff game would look pretty good to me. But the Hall of Famer didn't want Kopech getting stretched out, so this is what we get

At least Cesar hustled to 1st

Two of those hits were very lucky.

Most 2B get that ball he dove over. Or they are least stop it from going into the OF.

When we got Cesar he had as many homers as Jose. He now has 8 less homers than Jose.

Two of his homers were with the wind at Wrigley

When Cleveland inevitably re-signs him for scraps this off-season he's gonna have a laugh with his Guardians teammates next year about how he tried to tank this team.

He'll probably go back to being a 2 WAR guy next season, which is fine. But it isn't good enough for the level of team the Sox aspire to be.

He didn’t go

Did not come close to swinging

Probably, but he’s not playing good enough right now to be in the lineup when they try to win

Cesar about to give schoop a high five

Sox could very well get swept this series.  Tigers have played well lately!

Not happy to see Ruiz but no reason to run Rodon back out.

I'd go on record as saying, Carlos' shoulder is still 'fatigued'.

cesar is a big bag of dry shit.

Yet someone is gonna hand this dude $120M? Lol

It’s definitely not right, whatever you want to call it.

Rodon being out of the game now… carry on with any other secondary conversation… my futile policing duties agave concluded.

123 4th for Ruiz.  Well done.

Tiger announcers said Ruiz has 14 straight scoreless outings. Is this true?

Quick inning. Maybe Ruiz can go 3?

13 out of 14. Gave up 2 runs to Tampa on 8/22.

That was low
